Programme Strategy and Design: Conduct primary and secondary research to inform the design of enterprise and member-based business association development programmes.
Design enterprise and member-based association development programmes and projects that meet both enterprise/association needs and development partner objectives.
Programme Implementation: Implement or provide technical assistance for the implementation of enterprise development programmes and the institutional strengthening of member-based business associations.
Training: Conduct training needs assessments, design, deliver and evaluate tailored enterprise/entrepreneur development programmes. Training areas include business skills/management, export marketing and management, gender awareness and mainstreaming training as well as awareness building on the requirements for regional trade (East African Community (EAC), Common Market of Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and international trade.
Gender Mainstreaming: Conduct gender audits, create organizational gender policies, develop and deliver tailored gender sensitization training and develop gender mainstreaming strategies and plans.
